geese

By the entrance to lake of the pines in Auburn CA is a lake where this goose and a white domesticated  goose occupy.  I see them most every day as I pass the lake. This one I named Alfie because he reminds me of a goose named Alfie that we had when the kids were young and still with us. Alfie was a Lesser (a Canadian Honker that is smaller.) Sadly he was attacked by one of our pet poodles and was damaged so bad that we had to put him away.  If you can notice the wing is hanging down and he is unable to fly but for a short distance.   

    The white goose I named Aflac because of the commercial on T V.  These two geese are together all the time.  It is a mystery how Aflac came to be at the small lake, but Alfie must have been hurt by some animal or maybe hit by a car. When I took these pictures there were about a dozen Honkers there visiting the pair probably for a New Year party since it was Dec 31st .

We are making our last move ever to Lake of the pines, Nevada County CA from Redmond OR. I have some pictures that I would like to share of Nevada County.   To the right is a "Pelton wheel used for mining"

Underneath this street is an abandoned gold mine "The Empire mine"  that has shafts running for miles under the town.  There is still tons of gold there but to reopen the mine would be too costly

What Next

The scene is on a bus on the way to the army depot in Tooele Ut. where I was working.   I boarded the bus and was settled down for the rest of my nights sleep since it was dark and I was unable to read. I was almost asleep when I was awakened by a hand sliding on my leg toward my groin. It was the hand of a young man about my own age that I sat by when I entered the bus. I didn't know what to do as I did not want to disturb the other passengers so I just turned in the seat pulling away from the hand but then it happened again about ten minutes later, I turned again and again and was getting very upset but did nothing to upset the cart. The bus arrived at the base and I went to work. That night the young man was on the bus but a different seat; my anger at him had not subsided so when the bus stopped to let us off I waited for him to exit and when he did I slammed him with a right to the chin, he went down into a mud puddle, I left him there and went on my way. I never saw him again.

    This happened when I was about 21 yrs old and I have been sorry for what I had done to the young person all of my life but why did he do what he was doing to me.  It is because homosexuality is accepted by so many people who think and believe that it is normal. They believe that it is normal because homosexuals claim that they were born that way. If it is normal why do they recruit, bribe and deceive  young people to go along with  the lifestyle. This is a perverse lifestyle and I am not the only one that thinks so and it needs to be stopped! Why because it is unproductive and against Gods word, which says to multiply not demultiply. Now the only only way this is going to be stopped is for You and I need to wise up and stop agreeing with the  Homos and let them know that we will not go along with their morbid style. We need to let them know that marriage is between a man and a woman period. Homosexual lifestyles are a threat to our country and to our well being.

Obama at conference center -Portland OR

We met at Michaels Italian sandwich shop about 5 blocks from the conference center in Portland OR.  Americans for prosperity was there with music, signs and prayer.
                                                                   ;

  It was heart warming to see so many Patriots there with flags and with no hateful signs but with signs that tell the truth about what is happening to America.

   During the opening prayer there came a man with tatoos all over his body, her was disturbing the prayer and causing all kinds of havoc. He was ushered away

   At 1 pm we decided to have some lunch at Michaels,  We had a Michaels burger which consists of meatballs, very good!

After lunch Ginny and I started out towards the Conference center;  we walked for about 2 blocks and a man came out of a tattoo store, the same man with all the tattoos. He started arguing with Ginny about taking away his health care using language like f this and f that I told him to cool his language he wouldn't so then Ginny left the scene and I decided to take his picture but he tried to slap the camera  out of my hands.He didn't want me to take his picture very much so I started to back away, when I was about ten ft away I started to take his picture again, then he started to run at me like he was going to tackle me, I brace myself and when he hit me he just bounced backward staggering into the street. It was actually very funny, I started laughing and so did some road construction workers across the street. A lot of the people in Portland Or do not like Tea Party people! This confirmed it.

    We went on to the conference center, there was a  lot of people there that had been there waiting in line for a couple of hours. We hadn't planned on going into the center but since Ginny was in her handicap cart there was a volunteer that offered to get her to a good spot inside the center so we thought why not. We were about 30 ft from from the telepromters.

         Ginny had a sign on her go go that said "Take back America", we had a small US flag and a small gadsden flag and I had a T Party Patriot cap on. The volunteer Ushers did not like this and they told us not to display them or they would escort us out of the place. They said we looked like nice people Why would we like to be Patriots?  We video taped Obama's speech.
