The scene is on a bus on the way to the army depot in Tooele Ut. where I was working. I boarded the bus and was settled down for the rest of my nights sleep since it was dark and I was unable to read. I was almost asleep when I was awakened by a hand sliding on my leg toward my groin. It was the hand of a young man about my own age that I sat by when I entered the bus. I didn't know what to do as I did not want to disturb the other passengers so I just turned in the seat pulling away from the hand but then it happened again about ten minutes later, I turned again and again and was getting very upset but did nothing to upset the cart. The bus arrived at the base and I went to work. That night the young man was on the bus but a different seat; my anger at him had not subsided so when the bus stopped to let us off I waited for him to exit and when he did I slammed him with a right to the chin, he went down into a mud puddle, I left him there and went on my way. I never saw him again.
This happened when I was about 21 yrs old and I have been sorry for what I had done to the young person all of my life but why did he do what he was doing to me. It is because homosexuality is accepted by so many people who think and believe that it is normal. They believe that it is normal because homosexuals claim that they were born that way. If it is normal why do they recruit, bribe and deceive young people to go along with the lifestyle. This is a perverse lifestyle and I am not the only one that thinks so and it needs to be stopped! Why because it is unproductive and against Gods word, which says to multiply not demultiply. Now the only only way this is going to be stopped is for You and I need to wise up and stop agreeing with the Homos and let them know that we will not go along with their morbid style. We need to let them know that marriage is between a man and a woman period. Homosexual lifestyles are a threat to our country and to our well being.

Obama at conference center -Portland OR
ed
We met at Michaels Italian sandwich shop about 5 blocks from the conference center in Portland OR. Americans for prosperity was there with music, signs and prayer.
;
During the opening prayer there came a man with tatoos all over his body, her was disturbing the prayer and causing all kinds of havoc. He was ushered away
At 1 pm we decided to have some lunch at Michaels, We had a Michaels burger which consists of meatballs, very good!
After lunch Ginny and I started out towards the Conference center; we walked for about 2 blocks and a man came out of a tattoo store, the same man with all the tattoos. He started arguing with Ginny about taking away his health care using language like f this and f that I told him to cool his language he wouldn't so then Ginny left the scene and I decided to take his picture but he tried to slap the camera out of my hands. He didn't want me to take his picture very much so I started to back away, when I was about ten ft away I started to take his picture again, then he started to run at me like he was going to tackle me, I brace myself and when he hit me he just bounced backward staggering into the street. It was actually very funny, I started laughing and so did some road construction workers across the street. A lot of the people in Portland Or do not like Tea Party people! This confirmed it.
We went on to the conference center, there was a lot of people there that had been there waiting in line for a couple of hours. We hadn't planned on going into the center but since Ginny was in her handicap cart there was a volunteer that offered to get her to a good spot inside the center so we thought why not. We were about 30 ft from from the telepromters.
Ginny had a sign on her go go that said "Take back America", we had a small US flag and a small gadsden flag and I had a T Party Patriot cap on. The volunteer Ushers did not like this and they told us not to display them or they would escort us out of the place. They said we looked like nice people Why would we like to be Patriots? We video taped Obama's speech.

Don't tread on Me The history of the Gadsden flag and how the rattlesnake became a symbol of American independence by Chris Whitten
The Fourth of July never fails to reinspire my patriotism and sense of community with my fellow Americans, even when those fellow Americans are a mob of drunken cretins and teenagers trying to get out of downtown Chicago at 11 pm.
When it comes to symbolizing freedom and the spirit of 76 I do think there's a better American flag. With all due respect to the stars and stripes, I prefer the yellow Gadsden flag with the coiled rattlesnake and the defiant "Don't Tread on Me" motto.
The meaning of Old Glory can get mixed up with the rights and wrongs of the perpetually new-and improved government. The meaning of "Don't Tread on Me" is unmistakable.
There's also an interesting history behind this flag. And it's intertwined with one of American history's most interesting personalities, Ben Franklin.
American unity
Benjamin Franklin is famous for his sense of humor. In 1751 he wrote a satirical commentary in his Pennsylvania Gazette suggesting that as a way to thank the Brits for their policy of sending convicted felons to America, American colonists should send rattlesnakes to England.
Three years later, In 1754 he used a snake to illustrate another point. This time not so humorous.
Franklin sketched, carved, and published the first known political cartoon in an American newspaper. It was the image of a snake cut into eight sections. The sections represented the individual colonies and the curves of the snake suggested the coastline. New England was combined into one section as the head of the snake. South Carolina was at the tail. Beneath the snake were the ominous words "Join or Die"
This had nothing to do with independence from Britain. It was a plea for unity in defending the colonies during the French and Indian War. It played off a common superstition of the time: a snake that had been cut into pieces could come back to life if you joined the sections together before sunset.
The snake illustration was reprinted throughout the colonies. Dozens of newspapers from Massachusetts to South Carlina ran Franklin's sketch or some variation of it. For example, the Boston Gazette recreated the snake with the words "Unite and Conquer" coming from its mouth.
I suppose the newspaper editors were hungry for graphic material, this being America's first cartoon. Whatever the reason Franklin's snake wiggled its way into American culture as an early symbol of a shared national identity.
American independence
The snake symbol came in handy ten years later, when Americans were again uniting against a common enemy,
In 1765 the common enemy was the Stamp Act. The British decided that they needed more control over the colonies, and more importantly, they needed more money from the colonies. The Crown was loaded with debt from the French and Indian War.
Why shouldn't the Americans-"children planted by our care, nourished by our indulgence, "as Charles Towshend of the House of Commons put it-pay off England's debt?
Colonel Isaac Barre, who had fought in the French and Indian War, responded that the colonies hadn't been planted by the care of the British government, they'd been established by people fleeing it. And the British government hadn't nourished the colonies, they'd flourished despite what the British government did and didn't do. In this speech, Barre referred to the colonists as "sons of Liberty."
In the following months and years, as we know, the Sons of Liberty became increasingly resentful of English interference. And as the tides of American public opinion moved closer and closer to rebellion, Franklin's disjointed snake continued to be used as symbol of American unity, and American independence. For example, In 1774 Paul Revere added it to the masthead of The Massachusetts Spy and showed the snake fighting a British dragon.
The birth of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps
By 1775 the snake symbol wasn't just being printed in newspapers. It was appearing all over the colonies... on uniform buttons...on paper money...and of course on banners and flags.
The snake symbol morphed quite a bit during its rapid, widespread adoption. It wasn't cut up into pieces anymore. And it was usually shown as an American timber rattlesnake not a generic serpent.
The Rattle-Snake is found in no other quarter of the world besides America. The rattlesnake also has sharp eyes, and may therefore be esteemed and emblem of vigilance.
She never begins an attack, nor when once engaged, ever surrenders: She is therefore an emblem of magnanimity and true courage...she never wounds till she has generously given notice, even to her enemy, and cautioned him against the danger of treading on her.
I confess I was wholly at a loss what to make of the rattles, till I went back and counted them and found just thirteen, exactly the number of the Colonies united in America; and I recollected too that this was the only part
of the Snake which increased in numbers.
It is curious and amazing to observe how distinct and independent of each other the rattles of this animal are, and yet how firmly they are united together, so as never to be separated but by breaking them to pieces. One of those rattles singly, is incapable of producing sound, but the ringing of thirteen together, is sufficient to
alarm the boldest man living.

1992 Dodge Turbo Diesel
In 1992 I/we retired and after exploring OR decided to move to Brookings OR.
We purchased a dodge pickup along with a 39 ft. fifth wheel trailer since we planned on traveling too. We first moved to a small place called Whaleshead, next to Brookings. We had a box trailer that we moved with one load at a time. It was on one of these trips that we lost our cat "Shadrack" ! He was riding with me in the pickup Ginny was in the Buick and when she stopped in the middle of the Redwoods in Northern CA to converse with each other I pulled out in front of her; I went down the freeway about a mile and could not see Ginny behind me so I stopped to wait for her but she never came. So now I did not know what to do, if I went on to a place to turn around she might come after I turned around and I would miss her. So after waiting for about one half hour I got out of the truck went across the freeway and hailed a ride back to where I left her. When I arrived Ginny was in panic mode; She said that when I left with the pickup there sat Shadrack who had jumped out right where the pickup was. She went back to get him and when she was almost there a big rig came by making a lot of noise scaring Shadrack and he ran into the Redwoods, she called and looked for him to no avail. We went again into the woods to look and call but no Shadrack. We knew that there was a road that went around the area where Shadrack was so we planned for Ginny to take the car and go around and I would walk through the woods and meet her on the other side.
I started out searching and calling because Shadrack would usually come when called; he was an unusual cat he would ride in his 12 inch high by 13 inch diameter condo where he could see out the window and people could see him. When he wanted to come forward he would growl as he jumped onto the mound on the floorboard. When in Auburn we had a dart board that hung on a door in the game room. We would find Shadrack carrying one of the darts in his mouth usually running and growling with it in his mouth. There was a stool behind this door, he would jump up onto the stool and when someone would open the door he would grab a dart with his mouth from the dart board on the door and then jump down and run through the house. Some time after that he would sit on the floor in front of the dart board and when someone would throw a dart he would jump up and grab a dart and then run. I went through the woods climbing over downed giant redwoods still calling and searching until I came to the road where Ginny was waiting. We then walked along the road and met three men with a dog. In telling them of our woe they volunteered to help us look for Shadrack. They said that their dog liked cats and he could help. So we all hunted and hunted.
It was getting late and we thought we might have to get a motel in the next town and continue the search the next day. Ginny said that she wanted to go back to where Shad was lost and start over and I would stay with the guys and the dog, she took the car and left. After about fifteen minutes we heard a horn honk with the old familiar honk that we all know and it continued. The guys and I knew that it had to be Ginny so we walked to where their car was and they drove me to where Ginny was; she had found Shad when she was calling and he answered her, he was in between three trees growing close together making like a nest for him.
Shadrack lived to about 14 yrs old and then died of cancer about four yrs ago.We miss him so much but then along came Pepper which helped with the missing.
We traveled all over with the dodge/fifth wheel across the country several times, had a great life.
We took hikes on the beach and hunted special aggots and treasures. Shadrack would hike on the beach with us but always away from the incoming waves as far as his leash would allow. He finally got smart and would just lay down and when we would pull on his leash he would not get up. we could not drag him so we just did not walk him on the beach
When we were at a County Fair we saw a very cute lop eared rabbit and thought that it might be a companion for Shadrack so we bought him and took him home. We potty trained the rabbit and he had his own litter box but sometimes he would go in Shadracks litter box which Shadrack did not like and he would let him know he didn't.
The rabbit would lay on my lap quite a bit, Shad did not like it because that was his place, he would go down to the end of the hall and just sit there. This caused quite a stir. The Rabbit liked to chew on things like wooden table legs and he would chew holes in my T shirts. Someone told us that we should get some apple wood for the rabbit to chew on. We looked all over and finally found some but it didn't help we reluctantly decided to give him to a pet shop.

I'm not interested in religion...
I'm not interested in Religion...but I'm deeply interested in the Gospel.
Religion: I wouldn't cross the street for another Religion.
Gospel: I would circle the world for the Gospel.
Maybe you have wondered, "Is there a difference?"
Religions are man-made, the Gospel is God-given.
Religion is about what man does for God, the Gospel is what God did for man.
Religion is a long quest of seeking harmony with a god, the Gospel is God seeking us.
Religion is a man climbing the ladder of sel-righteousness hoping to meet God up on the top rung, the Gospel is God came down the ladder through the incarnation to meet sinners on the lower rung.
Religion claims good views, the Gospel is good news.
Religion may have some good advice; the Gospel is a glorious announcement.
Religion is the effort to change man and leaves him lost; the Gospel takes a man as he is to give him salvation.
Religion leads to outer reformation; the Gospel leads to inner transformation.
Religion fails to give real peace; the Gospel gives the peace that passes understanding.
Religion whitewashes sin; the Gospel washes white.
Religion results in a farce; the Gospel as a force is the power of God unto salvation.
Religion emphasizes doing; the gospel is being.
Religion claims our merit, the Gospel claims His mercy.
Religion says, "Do good, keep doing good, and eventually you become good" The Gospel says, First be honest in your heart, then you will want to do good".
Religion says try; the Gospel says trust!Religion says to develop yourself, the Gospel says, deny yourself.
Religion says join in with God and save yourself; the Gospel says surrender yourself to God.
Religion says attain;the Gospel says obtain!
Religion says attempt ; the Gospel says accept!
Religion says, "Do this and do that and you might make it." The Gospel says "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved!"
Religion has requirements and rules becoming a heavy burden to follow, the Gospel is the relationship to bless you forever!
Religion can give you something to live by; the Gospel gives you something to die by.
Religions has speculations on the gospel, but Gods Word says there is but one Gospel that saves (1Cor. 15: 1-4)
Religions are many, while there is one true Gospel.
WHICH CHURCH WILL LEAD ME TO HEAVEN
Religions require you to follow their way but "There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death" (Pro. 16:25). Christianity trusts Christ who said: "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me" John 14:6
Religion diminishes God and deifies man; Christianity knows the sinfulness of man and sovereignty of God.
Religion may shun the person who turns to Christ; Christianity is a choice to rather flee the wrath of God.
Religion often love-bombs visitors but destroys the dignity of the one who leaves ; Christianity is to love everyone while seeking to restore the wayward.
Religion will give a perspective on truth, but the Christianity of Scripture invites you to freely and completely investigate it for truth.
Religions often teaches about becoming gods; Christianity reveals the true God who knows no other (Isaiah 43-45).
Religions lead to human books for instruction; Christianity teaches God's Book of inspiration.
Religions glory in a legacy of their founders; Christianity glories in the cross (Galatians 6:14).
Religions point to speeches and graves of leaders,Christianity points to the empty tomb.
Religion has a variety of "the only true church"; "Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."
Religions may demand your tithes, Christianity honors your choice as to whether you will give or tithe to God.
Are there many ways to God? Its like a broad interstate leading to destruction (Matt. 7:13-23) Why did Jesus denounce false teachers to say, Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? (Matt 23:33). Dear soul, what if a false hope leads you to the same hopeless destiny?
The way to heaven is not through religion. To be born in Iran often means to follow Mohammed. to be born in Rome is to follow the Pope. Has your geography influenced you for who you follow? The way to God is by trusting the Jesus Christ of the Bible to the exclusion of other ways' Religion emphasizes principles, precepts, codes, temples and creeds; the gospel points directly to Christ. Religious teaching is to accept these, Believe and follow them The Gospel is to accept Jesus Christ. We believe and follow Him. Is Jesus your personal God as with His disciples? "And Thomas answered and said unto him. My Lord and my God. Jesus saith unto him. Thomas because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.(John 20:28-29) So here it is as approved by Jesus. He is "{my God" promising equal blessing if your faith in Him is exactly as His disciples. Friend, personalize your faith to make Jesus your Savior now to claim Him as "My Lord and my God".

1988 Buick
Fantastic buick, nice looking, solid suspension and handled lick a sports car. It had front wheel drive V6 3.0 engine. It may be hard to believe but it got 33 mpg hwy. I was amazed at the engineering that went into this car, It had ample power and was comfortable too.
Nashville, Tenn. was the first place this lovely car took us to for a Full Gospel Business Mens Conference in the Grand Ole Opera Hotel. It was extremely hot and humid in Nashville; so humid that the colors run on Ginnys clothes in her suitcase. Otherwise it was a wonderful trip!
A pretty girl is like a haunting melody and so is a beautiful car made by the old General Motors which I hope someday will rid itself of the take over Government and allow G M to be a free enterprise again if possible.
Next post will be a 1992 Dodge Diesel Dually

1965 Mustang Fastback
This 65 Mustang was Ginny's car But I loved to drive it. It had a 289 cubic inch engine with an automatic transmission which was smooth and quite. It did not have air conditioning but we had one installed which was no easy job. The 289 was not a super engine but was sufficient for the lighter weight mustang. It ran well handled well had a good ride because the suspension was not really hard.
Sadly the mustang found a tree and wrapped itself around it while I was chasing someone. I am still apologizing to Ginny for that. It was still a good car after being repaired but for some reason it did not handle well on ice.

1976 Mlnnie Winnie
Another day another story; This Minnie Winnie was not so big, it had an over cab bed and a couch that made into a bed. This MH had a lot of power with a dodge 440 cubic inch engine.
We took this MH to many places such as Lake Tahoe, Renisance Fair, LA CA. UT. and Ft Bragg CA. Ginny and I went on a trip to Ft Bragg CA to visit her sister. We stopped in Napa CA to spend the night, taste some wine and find a good place to dine. Some people told us that there was a place on the top of this small mountain that would suit our needs, we climbed the mountain with the Minnie and sure enough we found a great place in a barn converted to a restaurant with lots of charm. We tasted wine, ate some excellent food and then drank some harder stuff, don't remember what it was.
When we returned to the minnie the wine began to mock us (Biblical) and we got into a heated argument about whether we would sleep on the overhead or make the couch out. We proceeded down the mountain without a truce. When we bottomed out there was a turnout that went up a slight incline and leveled out and was a good place to park but the battle was still on. After sitting there for about fifteen minutes battering each other with dirty digs Ginny got out of the passenger seat and exited out the door.BUDS STORY I sat there for about ten minutes waiting for her to come back in, but she didn't, now I was starting to wonder where in the world she could have gone so I slipped out to investigate, walked round and round in the dark moonless night calling as I went but there was no sound not even a breath or a burp. Giving up I went back into the MH and sat in the drivers seat.
I sat there for another ten minutes then still nothing. Then came a motorcycle down the highway which had been quite passed me and stopped about 150 ft. behind the MH. As I was watching in the mirror the cycle sat there for about three minutes then made a u turn and came back past me and sped away. At this point my mind was working overtime, could she have got on that cycle with this someone and was going with them. Sounded crazy but in her frame of mind this could be happening and my alcohol stained mind convinced me she was on the cycle I started the MH and took off after them. What I didn't know was that we were parked next to a very small town and by the time I got to the other end of this small town the cycle had turned again and was coming towards me so I found a spot and turned around as fast as possible and put the pedal to the metal of the minnie. When I got down to where I was parked the cycle had turned again, I had no choice but to turn and punch the 440 again. When I got through the small town here they came flying at me, I had to stay with them so I whipped around and throttled after them but this time they just kept going and did not turn so I just turned into the parking spot. Just a few minutes later the door opened and Ginny entered and was I so happy.
GINNY'S STORY I was not going to make up that bed on the couch so I just walked out the door maybe to cool off and compose. The door opened and Bud came out and walked around for a few minutes and went back in. It was really dark and I could hardly see at all but after awhile my eyes accustomed to the dark plus feeling I decided that we were parked next to a vineyard. It was cold but I was not going in at least not for awhile. All of a sudden the MH started up and Bud took off down the road, now I started to panic, what was going to happen now. In about 3 minutes here comes a motorcycle down the road and turns around and heads the other way and then Bud comes in the MH also turning around and chasing after the MC What in the world is going on, This is crazy. Typical of the first time the MC came Bud came again until the Motorcycle just kept going and Bud stopped and parked. I got into the MH not too angry and we slept on the overhead.
The next morning we were awakened at dawn by the clanging of instruments that sounded like pots and pans with voices with a lot of whooping and yelling. The workers had come to pick grapes. Twas a very sleepless night!
